Texting and Driving Awareness Scholarship
Langley Law Firm recognizes the profound impact that distracted driving has on families in South Carolina. Despite technological advancements enhancing various aspects of our lives, they have also contributed to a surge in distracted driving incidents, leaving a trail of devastation. Our commitment as personal injury attorneys stems from witnessing the life-altering consequences that these accidents inflict on victims and their families.
In response, we are proud to introduce the Texting and Driving Awareness Scholarship, an initiative aimed at awarding $1,000 to a deserving candidate. This scholarship will serve as a platform to amplify awareness regarding the perils of distracted driving and encourage young individuals to think innovatively about combating this epidemic.
Submission Guidelines:
Entrants are invited to submit a 750-word essay discussing practical strategies for young people to prevent themselves and others from driving while distracted. We encourage participants to share personal experiences related to this issue and propose effective prevention tips to enhance road safety for everyone.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for this scholarship, individuals must have received acceptance or be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States.

Submission Deadline:
All scholarship entries must be submitted by February 10, 2025. The award recipient will be chosen at the discretion of Langley Law Firm. By participating, applicants acknowledge that submitted essays become the property of Langley Law Firm, which reserves the right to publish portions or the entirety of the scholarship essays on its social media platforms, website, or other electronic publications.
