Langley Law Firm is committed to raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. Our Texting and Driving Awareness Scholarship awards $1,000 to a student who can compellingly communicate the risks of texting while driving and propose actionable solutions to reduce such incidents on U.S. roads.

Essay Topic

The Impact of Texting and Driving

We invite students to submit a 1,000-word essay that informs, persuades, and inspires. Essays should address the impact of texting and driving and be supported by statistics, research, personal experiences, or case studies. The goal is to show how this issue affects individuals and communities and how we can make roads safer for everyone.

  • Essay Length: 1,000 words (required minimum)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled or about to enroll in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or community college program in the United States.

  • High school students must provide a college/university acceptance letter.
